** “Selling Your Art”

** Saturday, February 22, 2014

The Gathering of the Guilds will present a seminar on “Selling Your Art.” Alan Zell, whose family’s business had been a feature of the Portland jewelry landscape for decades, will be presenting a full day seminar designed to help you build your sales. Members of all the Guilds will attend, so you will be able to meet and network with other artists facing similar, yet different challenges. Currently, each Guild is allocated 10 enrollees. Tuition is $110 until January 25th. Alan’s book, “Elements of Selling,” (a $20.00 value) is included in the seminar fee.

Registration starts at 8:00 AM and class begins at 8:30 AM, and runs until approximately 5:30PM. Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Q will provide lunch. Other refreshments available will be water, sodas, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit, with pastries furnished by Beaverton Bakery.

Alan has also agreed to critique three Show Booths. If you would like to have feedback on your Trade Show Booth, check the box on the registration form, and be one of the first three to turn in your form.

If you are serious about selling your work, this is the workshop for you. You can check Alan out at (
