This workshop is open to all levels (no prerequisite).
INSTRUCTOR:
Debra Carus combines her decades of teaching experience with 20 years of full-time metalsmithing and jewelry making, with a unique focus on the Nordic traditions of filigree, granulation, stone setting and enamels.

The following supplies will be provided as part of your supply fee:
Small piece of 24k gold keum-boo foil
Use of hot plates, burnishers & design tools (paper punches, decorative edge scissors)
STUDENTS MUST BRING:
Fine or Argentium silver (NOT Sterling silver) sheet, 22-20 gauge - either scrap for practice -OR- a piece or two of finished jewelry made of Fine or Argentium silver, such as earrings or a pendant, fully fabricated but not polished
A water bottle & snacks (optional)
Sketch/notebook & pen/pencil
Hand towel or rag
Optivisor or other sight aids (optional)
Safety Gear:
